Persistent Foundation joined hands with the Pune Division of Central Railways and Nampally division for generating solar power at the Pune Railway Station. Our aim is to provide eco-friendly power generation, which is an important step in eventually making “Green Stations”.

Persistent Foundation donated the rooftop solar PV system in the Railway premises. Pune station plant capacity- 162 kwp, Nampally railyway station is 223 kwp. Both these plants were maintained by Persistent for a period of 5 years to ensure power generation and pay off period.
